Slugfest Advanced Hitting Clinic

The Backstop is excited to bring in KJaxx Sports featuring Coach Kerri Jacklets for this 2 hour advanced hitting clinic for players ages 14+! With 23+ years of coaching experience—including 13 as a Division 1 Head Coach—KJ is passionate about helping young athletes develop their skills and confidence both on and off the field. Her experience speaks for itself, most recently as a Master Instructor and Head Coach at Providence College.

In this two-hour hitting session, we will break down the essentials of your swing using video analysis and a small set of key metrics. We will cover timing, intent, adjustments, situational hitting and work on the core pieces of game performance. We’ll also introduce simple cognitive training tools used by elite organizations (US fighter pilots, Red Sox, Manchester United)  to sharpen focus, speed up decisions, and stay composed at the plate.
